We love to see posts about Redcliffe, and especially photographs. Comments about the peninsula are welcome, and we will endeavour to answer as many queries as we can. However, to encourage public participation there are limits to acceptable communication.

These are:
1. Polite language please! If you wouldn't say it to your nan over a cup of tea in the lounge room, it's not welcome on our page. Violent, coarse, racist, sexist or homophobic language, defamation, abuse and personal attacks are not acceptable. We have set up an automatic moderate filter for language, so if your post did not appear on our page, check your language.

2. All comments must be made in the spirit of constructive and civilised dialogue. Please do your best to stay on topic. While we appreciate wide-ranging discussions, we’d like to avoid derailed threads.

3. Please avoid excessively frequent or long comments, which may discourage others from participating. If you have a lot to add, write a Facebook Note and link to it. People who continuously post long comments on the same topic will have their comments moderated.

4. Keep comments about individuals for praise and referrals. Personal attacks will not be tolerated; this is not the forum.

5. If you feel Redcliffe could benefit from change or improvement, we are happy to have your posts on the page, but we are not a lobby group, and all suggestions which are not marketing-related will be referred to the local chamber of commerce, with which we work closely.

Administrators may block users or report or remove comments containing spam, profanity, or otherwise objectionable or prohibited material subject to the Facebook Code of Conduct, Terms of Use, and the general rules above. If we block, report or moderate a user, we will notify them of the reason where possible.
